PLN 5

In Will Richardson’s Adrenalin Forest, what matters to him is faith. Adrenalin is a strange thing. It gives you the feeling of fear and terror, and yet it also gives you the feeling of bravery. When you are about to dive off of a soaring airplane ten thousand feet above the ground, you are scared. But you also just what to get the feeling of “I just jumped out of an airplane, I bet you count do that!” That is what Will experienced in the forests of New Zealand, He along with his family decided to try an extreme zip line. It was designed so that you climb up, not fall down. There are over sixty obstacles that you have to overcome. When he was about five stories high, he started to lose confidence. He was scared and feeling like he was old. Faith and adrenalin kept him pulling himself upward. While his kids had already finished he was getting words of encouragement from above. After thirty more minutes of grueling effort and indescribable pain he managed to pull himself to the top. Somethines the world thinks that there is nothing to change. When there is a problem in society, sometimes people forget that they can do there part. A single person can make a difference, with faith an a little adrenalin. As soon as the world starts to realize that anyone can make a difference, the world will be happier and more peaceful. When you are faced with a task that you think you will never complete, faith and adrenalin keep you moving forward.

Your pln has a good length, and I love how you told very detail to what the man did, you used great connections. And in response to your question I believe you can influence someone to do something but the person still has say, but some people just give in to pear preasure for example.

Mitchell- This was really good. You had great eye contact and you didn't rely on your notes to much. Great job!

Good job speaking and good job keeping eye contact. Good job preparing. I think that you could influence someone if you get them to enjoy it and encourage them.

Mitchell-
You did really well. It was good how you didn't really fidget at all and you made good eye contact. IT was good how you put your own opion into it too.

Mitchel-
I think you had a really good point to your pln. It was a good point and a question to think about it. You picked a unique way to discuss this article. WELL DONE!

Mitchell,
You did a great job. It didn't sound like you were reading from a notecard and it flowed very well. I think you can influence people, but you might not always completely change their mind, but they could be considering what you said or did.

It relates to how friends and family can influence you to do something. But the bad part is when negative inflence to get you to do something illegal.

Mitchell- Great job presenting, the question was a little confusing, but that doesn’t matter. Good job presenting to the audience, and I liked how you didn’t concentrate on your note cards the whole time.

Good topic! I think it matters what you encourage someone to do. If its dangerous thats one story but if its fun you should influence them to do it.

Mitchell- Great Job. You made good eye contact and presented well. You had a really good question at the end. I think that if it were something powerful enough i believe anybody could.

Mitchell,
I think you did a very good job and you had good I contact and I could tell you were prepared. For the question I think I could influence someone to do somthing only if it's not somthing huge.

Mitchell you did a very good job, your pretty funny I have to say. Maybe you should not smacking your lips and saying “ah” a lot. In response is telling them they can do it because you can support them and tell them that they can do it. I loved the article that you did this on.

You had a great start, and you explained the presentation well. You really looked well prepared, and had an interesting subject. The answer that I would give regarding your question, I think that I could influence someone easily. You did a good job.

Mitchell B, Good job, the presentation was great. That adrialine forest sounds really cool. I think people can be influenced if they are close to you, like a brother or sister. Good job.

Mitchell,
I thought your presentation was great from the start. You started off with a great topic and carried it throughout your presentation. The only suggestion that I have is that you make more eye contact with the class and not just with the back off the wall. Your question at the end was a good question, but you might get more in-depth answers if you asked a more descriptive question. Great work!
